The Webbs
The Webbs have lived on the hill for several generations. Their ancestors are still connected with the church. Annie and Sylvanus had six children. They all lived at No. 1 Doddington just behind the church.
John (Jack) Webb
Sylvanus worked in the Clee Hill Quarry earning the equivalent of 10p per week. His son Jack followed his father into the same work. This is him at the quarry in the 1930s.
